As for Mr. Malka, it was claimed that even before his appointment to the committee, he had publicly expressed, on more than one occasion, his position that Army Radio should be taken out of military control. In this context, the petitioners note that upon the appointment of Mr. Malka to the advisory committee, the "Liberals in the Likud" movement (which, as noted, Mr. Malka serves as its vice chairman), published the following: "We congratulate the group's vice chairman, our friend Elad Malka, who will serve as a member of the committee to examine the future of Army Radio. Move on to privatization!". In another publication, which directly referred to the establishment of the committee by the Minister of Defense as a preliminary stage towards the closure of the station, the movement wrote: "We don't shout before the goal, if the committee established by the Minister of Defense @Israel_katz It is an obstacle that must be overcome in order to close the IDF Radio, we are happy with the progress. We will issue the blessings after the completion of the process. Army Radio must be closed(Appendix 19 to the Movement for Quality Government's petition; Emphasis added - 10:20).
The very same phrase - "We don't shout before the goal" - repeated from Mr. Malka himself. Thus, on November 16,2025, while serving as a member and secretary of the committee, Mr. Malka was interviewed on a podcast, and in response to the interviewer's comment that "Eliminate Army Radio", he replied: "Wait, we haven't eliminated yet, we don't shout 'yes' before the goal" (Appendix 17 to the main arguments of the Galatz Workers' Committee). This linguistic overlap, according to the petitioners, shows that Mr. Malka did not act as an objective committee member, but rather as someone who acted in coordination with, and perhaps even from, the same political framework of which he was a member, which determined the desired outcome in advance. In the same interview, when asked about the factual collection work carried out by the committee, and in particular about the materials collected by the committee that support the opposite position from the one it reached, Mr. Malka replied that: "We didn't collect materials", and that: "Thousands of people said the station was tilted to the left, and no one claimed that it was tilted to the right".
