Mr. Zidon reiterated that if he and his friends had known at the time of signing the contracts that the manager might make use of his right to take the land back, they would not have signed the contracts (ibid., paras. 20-23). And now, despite the sensational news that they learned from Mr. Sidon not long after the signing of the contracts, Mr. Sidon admitted that he had not contacted their counsel, the transfer of a concealed hearing place, or the transfer of the familiar Goren hearing place. Mr. Sidon did not even contact the Director or the legal authorities, including the Israel Police and the tax authorities (ibid., at p. 1204, paras. 1-21). Later in his interrogation, Mr. Zidon claimed that he had sent Mr. Elia Shimoni to speak with Mr. Dahari about this (ibid., at p. 1206, paras. 9-12). "I understood that there was a chance that we ate it. I came to the guys, they rejected it outright. They rejected it outright. I told Elia anyway. to which he called Dahari and Dahari persuaded him" (ibid., p. 1208, paras. 4-7). Mr. Zidon further claimed that in his understanding, Mr. Dahari had convinced Mr. Shimoni "that there was no chance and that the manager would never use this and all sorts of things. I didn't buy it. They bought it and I went with them... I remained apprehensive, I didn't know for sure, I hoped that maybe the deal would come out, I was very apprehensive" (ibid., 1208, paras. 17-23). Mr. Zidon added fairly, "I wouldn't have litigated without them. There is none, there is no chance" (ibid., p. 1209, s. 15; Ibid., p. 1211, paras. 13-14). Mr. Sidon added that the other plaintiffs thought "I was babbling" (ibid., para. 24), but "all along... I realized that there was a very good chance that we ate it. I spoke with the friends" (ibid., p. 1210, paras. 2-4). All of this is already "six months later, one year from the date of signing the contract" (ibid., para. 11). Later in his testimony, Mr. Sidon further stated that "I was very disturbed" (ibid., s. 22), "but they were pretty much not bothered by it" (ibid., p. 1210, s. 26 to p. 1211, s. 1).
