According to Azoulay's testimonyAt the same time, Ben-Zaken contacted her to arrange the meeting for him, and she contacted Eli Kamir (Noble Energy's media advisor) who equipped her with a Sommer phone and later connected Sommer with Ben-Zaken in a conference call. Azoulay explained in her testimony what happened: "I address on my behalf. But I'll honestly say that because of my absolute identity with Fouad, I can understand that someone can interpret it as a matter of knowledge and Fouad's. But I personally contacted Jackie in the wake of Jackie's request and in light of my friendship with Jackie" (Prov. p. 1137, s. 1). Later, she was asked whether Ben-Eliezer knew about the meeting. She replied: "Nope. I haven't updated it" (Prov. p. 1137, s. 5).
Kamir's remarks to the police sat down with the descriptions provided by Ben-Zaken and Azoulay, as the witness noted that the same conversation he had with Azoulay (and only with her) It left no impression on him, and all his "work" was limited to transferring the handling of the meeting coordination to Sommer.
And this is from the witness's statement to the police: "The person who approached me was Ayelet and asked me who Jacky Ben-Zaken could talk to at Nobel and did not elaborate on what topic it was about, and I never ask if it was not relevant to me" (P/253 S. 83);To the best of my recollection, the person who contacted me was Ayelet. I know for sure that it is not Fouad, he did not approach me with such things..." (P/253 S. 104). The witness was asked again, stating "... And I am sure that he (Ben-Eliezer - B.S.) did not contact me personally" (P/253 S. 113).
It should be noted that this is a notice that was submitted with consent, in a manner that obviated the need for the witness's testimony in court, so that it is presumed that the prosecution consented to what was stated therein, unless otherwise stated (and in this case – it was not specified).
Sommer's testimony It is also consistent with the fabric described above, since the witness described that Azoulay introduced herself in the telephone conversation as "Fouad's reindeer" or "as a deer" whom he knew as "Fouad's reindeer" (Prov. p. 139, para. 24), and the only requests were from her. And not from Ben-Eliezer, who had never approached him about the matter.
