Moreover, the evidence shows that the defendant does not have any formal training in the field of the capital market, securities or trading therein or in any other field related to them, in general, and in the field of gold trading in particular. In a statement he gave to the RNA investigator, the defendant confirmed that he had no formal training in the field of trading or investments and that he had no professional qualification whatsoever in the field (P/2, p. 6, paras. 6-8). From the defendant's own statements, it appears that his "training" in the field of commerce and gold was acquired mainly from reading a book and viewing the materials published on YouTube channels, and from what the defendant called "courses" (P/2, p. 6, paras. 9-20; p. 278, paras. 19-22; p. 279, paras. 1-22). As for robotic trading, the defendant stated that he became acquainted with robotic trading on the Internet. He described it as follows:
"I started researching a little bit on the internet on Google how to do automated trading, trading robots, the whole topic of Algo Trading... I discovered that this world is full of very, very interesting things, there are all kinds of robots for trading in the market that you can just buy, install them at your trading expense and let them work" (P/2, p. 22, paras. 14-23).
It also emerges that the defendant has been engaged in the field of robotic trading since the beginning of 2019, and even before that in late 2018 he was engaged in the said trade within the framework of his accounts (P/2, p. 18, s. 22; p. 21, s. 10 ff.; p. 23, paras. 1-10; see also: P/4, pp. 127-128). During his interrogation, the defendant did not deny the representation he made regarding his experience with the robot -
"[Investigator]: You've barely been a robot trader for a year, in this year I think you're 90%... From your customers... They are with losses, only now maybe they manage to balance their share and most of them won't see any more money at all, because they just sank that they lost. And you're talking to me about 25%...?"
