In conclusion
- In light of all of the above, the defendant will pay the plaintiffs a total of ILS 36,800 (plus VAT). This amount will be linked to the Construction Inputs Index from the date of the opinion (February 18, 2024) until the date of the judgment.
In addition, the defendant will bear the payment of the relative portion of the fee, in the sum of ILS 2,000.
If these sums are not paid within 30 days from the date of the judgment, they will bear arrears fees in accordance with the law from the date of the judgment until the date of actual payment.
In view of the discrepancy between the amount of the claim and the amount awarded, and taking into account the plaintiffs' conduct in the proceeding, (including in connection with my decision of May 11, 2025), I have not found it necessary to make an order for costs, and each party will bear its own costs.
The right to appeal lawfully.
