Jawadat describes that after the defendant hit the deceased, he climbed on top of him with the Dodge and ran him over. This description is consistent with the mechanism expected from injuries from a tall vehicle such as the Dodge, as such as a "forward throw" (and in this regard, see also the supplementary opinion of June 16,2024, in which Dr. Chen Kugel details that "... the higher the height of the moving vehicle, the higher the impact is above the center of gravity and the chance that the pedestrian's body will move forward to a larger vehicle", ibid., paragraph 1 of the document). Jawdat does not examine movement and presumably does not know the method in the matter, so that the correspondence between his description of the flight of the body and the expected mechanism, although it is not made out of a large number of possibilities, constitutes some reinforcement of his version (if Jawdat had described the deceased's flight towards the windshield and from there towards the back of the dodge, it would have been possible with a high probability to determine that his version is physically impossible, and hence it is also false).
Reinforcement for Jawdat's version can be found in the version of Adam Abu al-Qiyan, who, as mentioned, arrived at the scene shortly after the ramming with his Hyundai Sonata car, when two people who were at the scene loaded the deceased onto his car, which Jawdat had joined - and while talking to the MDA hotline. The very fact that Jawdat actively participated in the evacuation of the deceased from the scene in itself blunts the claim that Jawdat was not an eyewitness to the accident at all, and that his entire version is a "second vehicle" version. And if he was an eyewitness, why should he falsely give a "unusual" version of going up and down the sidewalk, when in the circumstances of the case he could have described driving at high speed towards the deceased, given the facts that are not in dispute: the injury to the deceased was in the opposite lane, the vehicle hit the deceased without stopping and fled the scene without providing assistance.
