A business establishment held an open television in which it was broadcasted a football game broadcasted in the commercial TV.  The producer of the broadcasts sued the establishment and its manager for infringement of copyrights.

The Court held that when an employee does not follow instructions of the employer it does not mean that the employer will not be liable for the acts of the employee, unless it is a complete deviation from the position of the employee.  In this case the manager I personally liable for any infringement by the employees because there were no procedures.

Public broadcasting of a protected creation in a place of public entertainment is infringement of copyright and thus the establishment and the manager were obligated to compensate the producer.
