בית המשפט הגבוה לצדק פסק השבוע בעתירה של ארבע רשויות מקומיות (עיריית רחובות, אשקלון, דימונה ושדרות) אשר דרשו כי המדינה תשלם ארנונה בגין תחנות לבריאות משפחה המוחזקות ומנוהלות על ידי משרד הבריאות בתחום שיפוטן של העיריות העותרות. העיריות טענו, כי סירוב המדינה מנוגד לפסיקה ולחוות דעת של היועץ המשפטי לממשלה לפיה, על המדינה לשלם את תשלומי הארנונה שבמחלוקת. מנגד טוענת המדינה כי הגופים הוקמו בערים אלו על יסוד הסדר מוסכם בין המדינה לרשויות המקומיות שעל פיו, לאור אינטרסים משותפים, העלויות בגין התחנות תחולקנה בין המדינה לבין הרשות המקומית. בית המשפט קבע, כי על מדינה לשלם את הארנונה בגין השנים 2003-2004 כנתבע.
