A director and CEO of a company that owns shares of a non-Israel company was legally served for the company under the assumption that he is a licensed business manager of the foreign company.

The Court held that the fact that such individual serves as a director and CEO of a company that owns shares of a foreign company does not make him authorized to be served. However, it was proved that there is an intense relationship between the shareholder and the director and CEO in relation to the business of the foreign company, even if it's about the technical side of the business, which is sufficient for establishing the conditions under which he can legally served for the foreign company, even if he is not used as a proxy of the foreign company.
