A person received in French an ex-parte Court verdict and moved the Court for enforcement in Israel. The defendant argued that he did not know about the filing of the claim and thus it should not be enforceable in Israel.

The Court held that in order to determine whether a judgment is enforceable in Israel one need examine whether the defendant received due process.  The proper way to cancel a verdict is to move the Court that gave the verdict in a motion to revoke it. Because proof of service of process to defendant's family member it was determined that defendant had knowledge of the filing of the claim and thus the French judgment is enforceable in Israel
