The witness, Prof. M.  Echo:         I guess yes, I don't know

Adv. Dr. Tal Rotman:          Would you agree with me that your sample is not representative of the population in the sense that it does not include non-Jewish people?

The witness, Prof. M.  Echo:         In the Bay Area?

Adv. Dr. Tal Rotman:          Yes.

The witness, Prof. M.  Echo:         I think you're wrong, but I don't know.

Adv. Dr. Tal Rotman:          I'll repeat the question, The group they want to represent, which is all the residents of the Gulf, do all the residents of the Gulf, in your understanding, also include the people in the Gulf area who are not Jewish??

The witness, Prof. M.  Echo:         I have no demographic idea if there is a place there, in my estimation, the residents of Haifa Bay are Jews.

Adv. Dr. Tal Rotman:  All the residents of Haifa Bay?

The witness, Prof. M.  Echo:  I do not know.  I told you I didn't know.

(From page 1193, line 7 to page 1194, line 20)

And later on, and also with regard to the participation of women and Arabs in the sample:

The witness, Prof. M.  Echo:                        Normally the sample should have been 50-50, but that's not the case here.

Adv. Dr. Tal Rotman: Not here, right, Here, too, you have two-thirds of women and one-third men, and you answered That we will Survey Participants Read More.  Right?

The witness, Prof. M.  Echo:                        This is usually true

Adv. Dr. Tal Rotman: That means the sample doesn't represent the population, right?

The witness, Prof. M.  Echo:                        Represents the population as it usually appears in samples.

Adv. Dr. Tal Rotman: Not as it appears.

[....]

Adv. Dr. Tal Rotman: With this point I end.  Yes.  You agree with me that if there are 50% men in the population and there are only a third of the men in the sample, is the sample not representative of the population in your opinion??

Adv. Mr. D.  Or Chen:           The question has been asked, sir, several times by me.

The Honorable Judge D.  Chasdai: Enough shouting.
