Adv. Mr. Gil Atar:  But why do you write that it produces a cause of cancer in the plaintiffs?  There are four plaintiffs here.  Why You're Writing that they had cancer?

The witness, Prof. Mr. S.  Lynn:            I don't even know their names.  What I Understood, That there is a claim for cancer diseases

Adv. Mr. Gil Atar:  of the plaintiffs? of the plaintiffs?

The witness, Prof. Mr. S.  Lynn:            of the plaintiffs, in Haifa Bay, and the residents of Haifa Bay

Adv. Mr. Gil Atar:  I mean, you thought that these were plaintiffs who had cancer

The witness, Prof. Mr. S.  Lynn:            I have to say that I didn't test it.  Every plaintiff.  I say.  I don't know the plaintiffs.

Adv. Mr. Gil Atar:  of people who have had cancer? You write cancer diseases in the plaintiffs.

The witness, Prof. Mr. S.  Lynn:            A...  Thank you.  You're right.  I don't know. 

Adv. Mr. Gil Atar:  You don't know.

  1. Rennert was asked in his cross-examination and answered as follows:

Adv. Mr. D.  Or Chen:         Doctor, professor, in principle you agree that pollutants including smoking, pollutants that are certainly carcinogenic including smoking, create changes in DNA.  Right?
