current API Security leadership team includes 2x VP Engineering (Yuval and Arie), 1x Sr Dir Strategy & Ops (Einat), 1x Sr Dir Product Management (Yariv)
After a year of integration and review, we've made the decision to eliminate one of the VP Engineering roles within the API Security leadership team
We will notify Yuval Barkan that his role has been eliminated next week
Hearing invite will be sent by HR on July 1
Hearing date is planned for July 3
Sivan, HRBP Director in Israel, will lead the hearing with Oz
Sivan is on copy here for visibility given her involvement in the hearing process. I also want to be sure she's aware that Oz will know about this decision as of tomorrow.
Effective date of determination will be ASAP, subject to the hearing process
The future API Security leadership team structure will be: VP Engineering, Sr Dir Strategy & Ops, Sr Dir Product Management all reporting into Oz as the VP API Security Product & Engineering
Yuval's responsibilities will be absorbed by the remaining API Security leadership team
We will not be opening a backfill for Yuval's role
This decision aligns with strategic efforts to streamline leadership and improve operational efficiency

- On June 28, 2025, another conversation took place between Rafesh and Oz, during which the former asked the latter to contact Liat the next day in order to arrange The Letter of summons to a hearing to the plaintiff (Low-key/Section 42).
