The defendant's testimony:
- As a rule, the defendant's testimony was laconic and denying and denying. According to the accused, until he accused the complainant of cheating on him, peace and tranquility sang in his home. The house functioned comfortably, without any friction, without threats and without an atmosphere of fear. According to him, the many testimonies that were heard against him were all the result of a conspiracy concocted against him, as part of the divorce proceedings from the complainant. The defendant went on to explain his claims, and even added the complainant's mother, as well as the welfare officials, to the pharmacists of the conspiracy.
- I will preface by emphasizing – I have not found any basis for these claims of the defendant.
First, the complainant did not seek to accuse the defendant of anything. As it appears from her testimony, she contacted treatment officials at the welfare office in the Karmiel municipality from the outset.
Second, this version of the defendant does not deal at all with the testimonies of the treatment authorities regarding the complainant's fear of the defendant, and the fear expressed by the children.
Third, the defendant's version is inconsistent with common sense. According to this line of defense, the complainant and three of her children sought psychological treatments, which they persisted in for years – and all this unnecessarily. According to the same line, during those treatments, the children falsely raised harsh content about an atmosphere of fear from the defendant. According to the same line, girls A and B decreed complete separation and separation from the defendant (who defined himself as a devoted and loving father), even when they were girls of high school age – and this for no significant reason (according to the defense's version – due to the fact that the defendant took their mobile phones from them...). According to the same line, the complainant fled her home with her five children, and lived for years in her parents' home – and all this was not due to fear of the defendant, but as part of a cynical plan to reap profits as part of the divorce proceedings between the two. According to the same line, the treatment agencies (welfare workers, psychologists, and social workers) have turned a blind eye to seeing that they are not treating a woman who has experienced violence, and children who have experienced years of terror and fear – but rather with tales and inventing inventions about actions that did not exist and were not created.
