The defendant, as usual, did not ask who that friend of Aviel Dadon was, how the car got to that friend, where that friend was, and whether he was even allowed to drive. However, the defendant agreed to meet with that friend, to take the Chevrolet car into his possession, to leave that friend alone near Meron, and to drive on his way in the Chevrolet car, until he arrived at Rafi Abdayev's business compound only about four hours after the murder was committed.
It should be noted that the defendant did all this while we remember that the road to and from Moshav Meron was winding and winding, because the defendant did not sleep during the entire hours of the night, but sat and drank for a drunkard, and when he arrived at the premises of Rafi Abdeyev's business, he did not tend to stay overnight but, according to him, to sit in Rafi Abdeyev's company and drink "a few beers" (p. 3918, s. 14). Later on, the defendant engaged in some activities, as if he was absent from any physical disability and his body did not need sleep, certainly not hours of sleep, for this would be called "young". It is no wonder, then, that Ruti Arnon (the widow of the deceased) believed that a young man had stabbed her late husband. The defendant, in fact, in the manner of his actions and the way he conducted, described himself (at the time) as possessing skills that very few young people possess. We will further note that contrary to what is implied by the defendant's version, the defendant's friend, Emil Rafalov, testified (February 6, 2025, p. 4731) that the defendant used to "drink", and therefore from time to time he used to drive him to his place of residence. Apparently, Emil Rafalov was not familiar with the defendant's version, in this context, according to which after a sleepless day and night, after drinking drunk throughout the night, he drove the Chevrolet to Rafi Abdeyev's business, drank "a few beers" there, and continued his non-stop activity during most of the day.
The defendant claimed that he had come to Rafi Abdayev's business (on the morning of March 24, 2021) in order to take the sum of ILS 10,000 from him, which he would hand over to Attorney Arnon Savyon. The latter, who had met him the day before, told him that he intended to file the lawsuit against Hananya Piso even before the holiday, and therefore the defendant asked to transfer a sum of money to him on account of the legal fees, and for the purpose of paying the court fees.
