It can only be determined that even during the relevant period, the house was and remains the defendant's home.
The defendant did everything in his power to distance himself from his home at 18 Gevburah Street in Nesher, and he did not do so for nothing. Not far from this house, the Chevrolet car used by the murderers was parked the night before the murder was committed, and it is not impossible that the murderers left this house on their way to carry out the murder. In addition, it was clarified that the DVR device of the security cameras in this house, at 18 HaGevura Street, was not working (p. 1094, paras. 10 ff., testimony of Doron Caskey, 16 November 2022). Amazingly, the cameras in the house at 18 HaGevora Street were not in working order, and more precisely the DVR "didn't come up" (testimony of Doron Caskey, 16 November 2022, p. 1110, para. 15) "It means that you turn it on and then there's a black screen." The DVR was "malfunctioning", as it apparently documented the defendant's departure from the house at the aforementioned address at the relevant hours, and we are dealing with incriminating documentation. There is no other way to justify the malfunction of the device in a large house of this type. No relevant videos were found in the file recovery software (Recovery) (p. 1111, s. 12). On the other hand, it should be emphasized that Sigal Avioz clarified (September 15, 2024, p. 4360, paras. 8-11) that there were never any malfunctions in the house's security cameras. According to her, in relation to the relevant date (p. 4375, para. 16), "everything worked." It is therefore clear that an invisible hand made sure that theDVR was "malfunctioning" when examining the events that were observed on the security cameras of the defendant's home at 18 Gevvora Street in Nesher, and we will recall that from a place near this house, two figures were seen in the video descending the stairs towards the street where the Chevrolet was parked a few hours before the murder was committed.
