In his testimony, Policeman Balalo said that upon reporting the shooting incident, he arrived at the scene in the public park, and after a search, seized a bullet and a backpack.  Afterwards, at the police station, he took a sample from the defendant to locate gunshot remnants with the help of designated samplers, and when exhibits arrived, he sampled gunshot remnants for them as well.  Officer Balalo stated that he had taken a sample from the helmet to locate remnants of gunfire and from the inside to locate additional civilian hearing by a biological laboratory (p.  368 of the protégé).

Officer Balelo stated that the exhibits: a bicycle, a helmet and a shipment bag were brought to him by Officer Gandhi to a locked sterile laboratory, which has an "air vent" installed, while they are not wrapped (p.  373 of the protégé).  According to him, the use of gloves during the transfer of the exhibits is intended to prevent the transfer of fingerprints and an additional civil hearing (p.  373 of Prut).  Policeman Balalo clarified that the remnants of gunfire should not be on a police officer if he did not shoot (p.  374 of the protégé).  According to him, the exhibits were placed by him on sterile brown paper and the sampling process took about 20-25 minutes (p.  375 of the protégé).  Policeman Balalo stated that after placing the exhibits in the laboratory, he took samples from the defendant.  According to him, he changed gloves in his handling of each of the exhibits, and also stated that he changed gloves between the treatment of the defendant and the handling of the exhibits (pp.  378-379 of the protégé).
