In the affidavit of the defendants' response to the request for temporary relief, which was given by Prof. Shoval, it was written (in paragraph 14) that the plaintiff's claim that the subject of the defendants' research and article was stolen from the plaintiff's research is unfounded. As proof of this, Prof. Shoval referred to the fact that "the concept of System of Systems - SOS , which, as stated, is a central concept in the research work, appears in the article in question [the defendants' article - A.L.C.] 194 times, while in all of plaintiff 1's works there is no mention of this concept."
In the hearing of the application for interim relief on April 13, 2022, the plaintiffs sought to prove that the term SOS, which the defendants claimed was central to their article and that does not appear at all in the plaintiff's research, does appear in her book "Globalization, Quality and Everything in Between" (the same book published by the plaintiff in 2014, and which in defendant 1's research proposal states that the reference to it will be removed and that there will be a reference to the articles only).
Thus, on page 34 of the transcript of the transcript of that hearing, beginning with line 28, in a cross-examination of defendant 3, counsel for the plaintiffs referred "to the same book that we spoke about earlier... Globalization, quality and everything in between. This is the book that was erased." Counsel for the plaintiffs presented pages from the same book in order to show that, contrary to the defendants' claims, the book does include the term SOS, and even on a large scale: "I marked you here, just to make it easier... All the times sir that SOS appears in yellow. Sir, let him be impressed. It's a book that has been erased." Later (on page 35, beginning with line 13), the plaintiffs' counsel even accused defendant 3 of trying to mislead the court: "You will agree with me that this is the same book you have, but it was deleted from the offer only afterwards... In other words, here you tried to mislead the court because you did not refer to the book we are submitting about...".
