In this interrogation, the defendant did not give the full version regarding Plans, since at that time he still had an active commercial relationship with Plans, and he wished to maintain his good relations with the company and its managers. Against this background, he refrained from providing any details regarding Plan's people. In this statement, defendant 1 allegedly admitted that he had forged Plan's sales accounts. According to him, in the framework of the preliminary questioning, the interrogators explained to defendant 1 that he was not the owner or officer of Plan, and therefore it was not in his authority to print invoices in the name of this company. They made it clear to him that according to his version as well, it was a forgery. Due to his difficult mental state and the pressure of the interrogation, defendant 1 agreed to use, in his written interrogation, the word forgery in order to describe his actions, but in practice, from a material point of view, he never admitted that he had forged the sales accounts. In addition, in his interrogation, the defendant concealed the involvement of "Haim" (Kobi Zoaretz) and "Avi" (Ben Nissan) regarding the companies of Savilla and Danidov.
According to him, when he was taken out of the interrogation room and waited on a bench in the hallway, an unidentified man approached him and conveyed a threatening message to him, according to which he should not mention "Haim" and "Avi" in his interrogations, otherwise he and his family would be swallowed up. Against the background of these harsh threats and in light of his already precarious mental state, defendant 1 exercised erroneous judgment and did not tell about the two in the interrogation.
As for the prosecution's claim that Defendant 1 mentioned Elhanan Tenenbaum many times during his interrogation, who was then held captive by Hezbollah in Lebanon, the defendant argues that it was the interrogators who repeatedly brought up Tenenbaum's name and hinted to him that they were interested in receiving information about him.
