When asked who Avi Stavitzky was, Defendant 1 said: "My father is the person who handles the affairs  of the PLANAS company in Israel, and today to the best of my knowledge the company is inactive."

During the interrogation, the defendant was asked who authorized the issuance of certificates on behalf of PLANAS, and stated that: "At this stage, no one has yet authorized me."

He also claimed that he did not have a PLANA stamp.

In the first part of the statement, the defendant denied that he himself had printed the documents with  the PLANAS logo, and even claimed that he had never visited the company's offices and that he did not know who the company's owners were.

According to him, he received the supplier's accounts in the name  of PLANAS, from Avi Stavitzky, when the documents were complete, and they were accompanied by additional documents.

According to Defendant 1, he transferred the supplier's account of PLANAS to the Danidov company, to a person named Haim Zaruk.

As a parenthesis, I will note that the defendant misspelled Haim Zaruk's name in the context of the Danidov company, since even according to his own version, Haim Zaruk has no connection to the Danidov company.

Later in the statement, Defendant 1 changed his mind and admitted that he himself printed the supplier's accounts in the name  of the PLANAS company, and this: "In a few cases at a printing office in Herzliya opposite the Central Bus Station, an office called 'The Tower', I think it is called."

When asked why he printed the accounts of the PLANAS company, the defendant claimed that this was done in the framework of his business relations with Elhanan Tenenbaum, who: "...  He asked me to arrange for him to receive supplier accounts in the name  of PLANAS when in these supplier accounts the amounts and the goods, as a result in some cases I printed supplier accounts in the name  of PLANAS, the same accounts in the name  of PLANAS I transferred these accounts to Danidov, to my father whose last name I do not remember.  Actually, his last name is, as I said, Avi Stavitzky...".
