Shohat claimed that he was discriminated against against Yigal Babayan (Babiyan) and Schipper, both from Wii, against whom no indictment was filed (allegations regarding IBM officials will be discussed separately along with claims raised by other defendants in this regard, see also paragraph 1095 below)). Babian was a salesman at Weeway. It was alleged that he was involved in the coordination of the thirteenth indictment (Israel Mapping Center) (P/457, p. 35 of the file, P/458, p. 34 of the file; regarding the submission of these documents, see the notice of May 23, 2023), as well as in other alleged coordination against the Petah Tikva Municipality and the Ashdod Port (in relation to the latter coordination, no indictment was filed and the factual picture was not clarified at all). With regard to Schiffer, it was claimed that he was a senior slaughterer and played a central role in coordinating the proposals in the Oranim project (as it appears, for example, P/504 and P/145, as cited above).
In the circumstances of the case, Shohat's arguments should not be accepted. The accuser explained her considerations in the prosecution. In this regard, she noted that when a certain company has a number of people involved in a certain charge, the accuser chose to focus on and prosecute the main person involved and the senior manager of the company (p. 6973, s. 21 - p. 6974, s. 3). Accordingly, the accuser explained that she had prosecuted Shachar – who was the central figure in the coordination arrangements in the relevant charges and as someone who was at the center of contact with the competitors (both in the Oranim project and in the thirteenth indictment) and as someone who was involved in many other coordinations. For this reason, it was decided not to prosecute Schiffer and Babian (ibid.; in relation to Babian see also s. 1266 for the accuser's summaries). In all that was said about Shohat, the accuser explained – and this was also evident from the evidence – that he was the central figure on behalf of Matrix in all matters relating to the coordination attributed to the Oranim project.
