"Because I realized that I was dealing with a crook... Lack of trust, does not believe him" [ibid., at p. 16, lines 10-12].
"That's my way, that's it. The fact that I understood that he was a crook, so he was a crook. The fact that there is no trust, therefore there is no trust. The fact that the person is suddenly asking me for 700,000 shekels, then..." [Ibid., at p. 17, lines 18-20].
"After Shlomi played me, he took me hostage for 5 years or 4, 6 years and didn't do anything with me..." [Ibid., on p. 18, lines 12-13].
"After I knew he was lying to me all day and stealing me, I lost my trust. After he took me out of the Companies Registrar without me knowing... Trust slowly began to erode, and there all my trust completely declined" [ibid., at p. 42, lines 26-31].
"...And that's why your client Hagai actually enjoys it, his value of shares that is rising, and therefore I don't understand why he's complaining about the trials" [transcript of Gazit's cross-examination of June 9, 2025, at p. 54, lines 13-11].
"I would not have communicated [with the plaintiff - M.A.] and sold her shares that I owned if I had known that later on she would act against me and the company behind my back..."[Affidavit of Gazit's main witness, at p. 5 at para. 19].
- About a year before the lawsuit was filed , most of the parties' correspondence was transferred to their lawyers. This follows years in which the parties corresponded with each other on an ongoing and informal basis. Often, the discourse between the lawyers and the parties, and between the lawyers themselves, reflected the rift created in the matter. For example, see below:
"It appears that you are conducting the company as your own and ignoring my client's existence, except when you need funding for various and strange activities" [the plaintiff's counsel in a letter of inquiry dated January 18, 2022, which is attached as Appendix 8 to Maor's main witness affidavit].
"Instead of being a partner and supporting the struggle as it has promised. Instead of helping to save the value of her own shares from your wife [the plaintiff - M.A.] evades her debts, burying her head in the sand with the mistaken thought that she has no responsibility - and there are times and at different times she pulls her head out in the hope that her debts have passed, rolls her eyes and wonders where her rights are" [Gazit's reply letter dated January 25, 2022, which is attached as Appendix 9 to Maor's main witness affidavit].
