Under the aforesaid, the plaintiff seeks to lift the corporate veil between Prestige and Uri directly, while ignoring the existence of Weisbord Holdings, and without addressing at all the fact that Weisbord Holdings, and not Uri, was the shareholder of Luxury.

It should be clarified that Uri raised arguments in this matter, including the absence of a cause of action against him and the absence of rivalry, even in the framework of the statement of defense on his behalf, but the plaintiff did not see fit to submit a reply to the statement of defense, and to provide a response to these claims, and as Uri claimed, "tried to skip over a separate legal personality" (p.  2 of Uri's summaries).

I will add that Roy was asked if he had ever checked who was the owner of a luxury company, and he replied that he had not checked with the Registrar of Companies, even though it involved a "push of a button", and that he had checked with a "girl" named Yamit, who, according to him, managed the nursing home and "with whom all the reports, working hours, and salaries" were dealt with, and when he asked her who owned the luxury company, she replied that "there is a guy named Uri" (p.  27, lines 21-35 of the transcript).

If that were not enough, when Roy was asked about Weisbord Holdings, he replied: "I don't know.  Nope.  I don't know." (p.  27, lines 19-20 of the transcript).  When he was told that Ori had never owned a luxury hotel, he replied: "Okay.  This is a novelty," and added that he had not read Uri's affidavit (p.  28, lines 1-2 and 6-7 of the transcript).

The testimony speaks for itself and it emerges from it that the plaintiff did not bother to check who was the shareholder of Luxury at the relevant times, and was satisfied with the assumption that Uri was the shareholder of Luxury, and on this she based her claim.

This conduct of the plaintiff, who did not claim to lift the two-stage veil, while completely ignoring the principle of separate legal personality, without explaining how, in accordance with the law, it is possible to lift the veil of association between Prestige and Uri directly, omits the procedural and substantive basis of the veil lifting claim that she raised.
