(1) Within sixty days from the date on which the Registrar deems that such conditions have been met and that orders for the extension of such a reference patent have not yet been issued, he shall publish on the Internet a notice of his intention to grant an extension order and the period during which the order will remain in effect, subject to the issuance of orders for the extension of such a reference patent during the period of validity of the basic patent;
(2) If orders for the extension of such a reference patent have been issued or an application to grant has been finally rejected, the applicant shall notify the Registrar within ninety days from the date the orders were issued or from the date on which the application to grant the grant was finally rejected, as the case may be;
(3) In view of the fact that orders for the extension of such a reference patent have been issued, prior to the expiry of the basic patent period, the Registrar shall publish on the Internet, within sixty days, a notice under subsection (c) (hereinafter - a supplementary notice), even if the applicant's notice regarding the issuance of orders as stated in paragraph (2) was given to the Registrar after the expiry of the period of the basic patent, provided that it was delivered within the ninety days allotted for its delivery as stated in that paragraph; The provisions of this paragraph shall not apply if a supplementary notice has already been published regarding the basic patent, and it has not yet expired in accordance with section 64J(3);
(4) If the Registrar deems or has been brought to his attention that no orders for the extension of such a reference patent have been issued, prior to the expiry of the period of the basic patent, or if the applicant has not been informed that orders for the extension of a reference patent have been issued as stated in paragraph (2), no extension order, temporary or permanent, shall be issued, and the Registrar shall publish a notice on the Internet, within sixty days of the end of the period of the basic patent or the end of the period set forth in paragraph (2), whichever is later, of the cancellation of the intention to grant an extension order under paragraph (1).
