The prosecution's evidence includes a video of a security camera located on Al-Duha Street, where the defendant's house is located, and can also be seen on the parking lot of his house. These videos, from the date of the incident, September 22,2023, are of great importance for understanding the sequence of events, since, as will be detailed below, they document the defendant's actions, shortly after the incident in the washing, and shortly before the vehicular attack - as the "connecting link" between the events. On the merits:
At 6:48 P.M., a white vehicle (similar to a Dodge) can be seen in the parking lot of the defendant's home. It should be noted that according to the viewing report of Sgt. Aharon Maimoni (P/9(b), there is an 18-minute gap between the actual time and the time appearing in the video.
At 6:50 P.M.: The white car leaves the parking lot of the house and drives up Al Doha Street. As the car exits the parking lot, you can see the reverse light that has turned on as well as the brake lights.
At 6:52 p.m.: The Avensis vehicle can be seen coming up Al Doha Street and entering the parking lot. The defendant in the Avensis (there is no dispute that he is the defendant) is waiting in the car, with the driver's door open.
At 6:58 p.m.: The Dodge car can be seen coming towards the defendant's house, which is waiting at the spot inside the Avensis. Upon arrival, the Dodge does not park or stop, but reverses into the parking lot, while at the same time the defendant exits the Avensis.
The defendant, who is holding a phone in his hand (the screen light can be discerned), immediately approaches the driver's door, when the driver of the dodge (Karam) gets off, circles the Dodge from the back and goes to the front passenger door and gets into the car. Even before Karam closes the door, the defendant begins to drive.
It can also be seen that near the first bumper (speed bumper) located near the defendant's house, the Dodge's brake lights come on. Later on, when the vehicle is up the street near the right turn to Altakoa Street, the brake lights come on again (although the vehicle itself is hardly noticed, you can see the red lights that turn on - marked with a yellow ellipsis). This is a documentation of the vehicle seconds before turning right and running over.
