According to the witness Jawadat, his field of vision allowed him to see the whole event, there was light and good vision, when there were several other children "upstairs, where the turn was on the right and I was down" (p. 180 and also see p. 197). There were two people in the Dodge car, the defendant and next to him, "I didn't see 100 percent, Karim" (ibid.).
He did not know about a dispute that existed between the defendant and the deceased. He noticed Karam, the defendant's brother, before the accident had entered the neighborhood with a Dodge car, two or three minutes before, without the defendant being in the car (p. 184). He called the ambulance a minute or a minute and a half after the car-ramming. He knew how to tell the interrogation the time of the car-ramming because "five minutes ago since I called the ambulance... Yes, they have the call... five, six minutes back" (p. 185).
In the cross-examination, he clarified that he had called MDA and not the police, and that at first he did not want to come and give testimony, "but then I spoke to myself and came." He confirms that when asked during the interrogation whether he remembered the incident, he replied that it was a deliberate vehicular attack: "If it had not been intentional, he would have gone into the wall and he would not have followed him" (p. 192); he took in Muhammad's direction and he followed him, he got off the sidewalk and followed him to the road." The defendant did not brake his car before running over the deceased (p. 185).
In his cross-examination, he clarified that he knew that the deceased intended to go to his grandfather because he had told him so. He told the deceased to enter the house because he thought something had happened with the defendant: "I thought... I didn't know, I thought... Yes." In response to the defense attorney's question, he confirmed that after the incident, his understanding reached a level of knowledge (p. 189). He did not tell about it during the interrogation because he had not been asked about it, and later added, "Maybe I forgot to tell him."
