Main Inquiry
- Yosefian worked for Kofi for about 9 years, in IDF bases and later in the IPS. Most of the work was done in the IPS. The witness worked in frameworks and made roofs and pergolas. Yosefian performed private work in the villa owned by the defendant (roofs, pergolas and frames). Kofi paid him for the work, and other than that, he did not receive payment directly from any party (p. 181). The witness denied the claim that the defendant paid him directly and not Kofi (p. 181). He did not work at other properties of the defendant, and he does not know the value of the work they performed in the villa ( 181-182).
Cross-examination
- Yosefian served as Kofi's foreman (p. 186). In response to the claim that he did not work in the villa at all, he insisted that he remembered the defendant, his work and the defendant's wife who came to visit (pp. 184-185). Kofi was cut off from prison because of the defendant and that Kofi had a "full stomach" on the defendant (p. 186). In his cross-examination, the witness also insisted that he did not receive money from the defendant and that the defendant did not pay the workers (pp. 187, 188, 192, 195). The witness did not perform additional work for the defendant in other houses (p. 194). Other workers also worked in the defendant's penthouse (p. 195).
- They worked in the villa for more than a week (p. 200). The witness received a monthly salary of NIS 5,000, with a check from Alumtris and not from Kofi ( 200-201). The workers received payment through Kofi (p. 204). Kofi was at the site and accompanied the actual villa project (p. 201).
- The witness does not know the nature of Kofi's relationship with the defendant after he stopped working in the IPS (p. 196). He himself has nothing personal against the defendant (p. 196). Regarding the fact that during the police interrogation he called the defendant a liar and a villain, he explained that he was angry with the defendant because he was fired after Kofi stopped receiving work from the defendant (pp. 196-197).
