בית הדין האזורי לעבודה בירושלים קיבל בקשה לסעד זמני שהגיש מנהל אגף תחבורה ופיתוח תשתיות בעיריית ירושלים, והורה על ביטול פיטוריו ועל השבתו לתפקידו לאחר שהראה כי פיטוריו נובעים משיקולים לא ענייניים וכי נעשו בחוסר תום לב ועל בסיס ליקויים מהותיים בכל אחד מהשלבים בתהליך. בין היתר, נודע למנהל על הפיטורים עוד לפני השימוע; לא הובא בפני ועדת השימוע תיקו האישי; לאחר השימוע לא הועברה ההחלטה כנדרש לועדת הפיטורים והמנכ"ל אשר גיבש דעתו בענין הפיטורין לפני השימוע ישב בוועדה. יצוין, כי השבה לעבודה הינה סעד חריג ביותר, אולם בית הדין נתן סעד זה לאור הפגמים החמורים שמצא לכל אורך הדרך בהתנהלות העירייה.
