The defendants walked to the industrial zone in Sderot, intending to purchase fuel and set fire to the vehicle while the deceased was inside, in order to conceal the evidence of their actions and with the intention that the deceased would not be identified; On the way, the defendants washed their hands and hid their coats, in order to hide the blood of the deceased who was on their hands and clothes; Defendant 2 entered the Paz gas station where he asked to buy a flashlight, but he did not have enough money; The two then entered the Tapuz gas station, where defendant 1 purchased a lighter and diesel, which he filled with a jerrycan they found on the way.  The defendants then returned on foot to the place where they had left the deceased in the car.

At a certain point, before or after going to the gas station, the defendants took the deceased's gun from the car, as well as property from the deceased, including his mobile phone, a set of keys containing the car keys, pepper gas and a case of tobacco.

Defendant 1 poured the diesel fuel from the jerrycan on the deceased's body and on the inside of the car, the defendants set fire to a piece of paper on which they sprayed perfume from a bottle they found in the car, and threw it into the car; The vehicle with the deceased in it went up in flames, and the defendants fled the scene, leaving the vehicle burning with the deceased inside; When he moved on to setting the car on fire, the defendants did not check the condition of the deceased and did not verify that he was dead.  While fleeing, the deceased's mobile phone, which was left near the vehicle, fell out of the hands of the defendants.  Later that day, the deceased's mobile phone was found next to the burnt car, and inside the car was found the charred body of the deceased, from which no findings could be obtained regarding the cause of his death.

The defendants left the forest on foot and on their way to the house of defendant 1 collected the coats from the place where they had previously hidden them and threw away the jerrycan; When they arrived at the house of Defendant 1, the defendants took a shower, put the blood-stained clothes they had worn at the event in garbage bags, and went to sleep.  On the morning of 27 February 2018, the defendants walked towards the train station, carrying the bags with their clothes (in the bag of defendant 2) and the deceased's property; On the way, the defendants hid the gun wrapped in a towel near a playground; The bags with the clothes were discarded in two separate garbage cans and the deceased's keychain was thrown into a sewer channel, all in order to conceal the evidence; They then separated, when defendant 2 traveled by train to his home and then to work, and defendant 1 returned home.
