When he was played a recording of a conversation between him and Defendant 2 (conversation 15-23-25 of 27 February 2018 at 15:27), Defendant 1 recognized that it was a conversation between him and Defendant 2 before the party. According to him, after the incident he told defendant 2 that he was unable to go to work because he had stomach pain and nausea, and he told him not to worry and that he would talk to the manager and tell her that they had drunk fake alcohol and that was why they didn't go to work; But after hearing work-related talk in the background in the conversation, he confronted Defendant 2 by saying that he was not going to work either, and in fact made him a liar in front of the manager. Later in the conversation, defendant 2 asked him if there was anything new about the case and he told him he would talk to him when he arrived; And when they met near the buses, he informed him that the deceased's girlfriend had called him, cried and told him that they could not find the deceased, that they had found his car burnt in the forest and the phone was thrown away, and he did not know what to say to her, and defendant 2 was afraid but told him not to worry and just not to talk. According to him, he was afraid to talk about the incident on the phone, because he was afraid that they would find out that he was there , "and I saw him as a murderer and I didn't do anything about it, and I didn't call the police and act like a puppet on wires that he was running." Regarding the claim that they sound like good friends and that neither of them is afraid of the other, he replied, "I was afraid that he would see something wrong and he would come at me, so I played that everything was fine and that we were friends and that we were brothers" (ibid. at 205-249).
He also claimed that during the party, defendant 2 "told me that he would hurt me or my family, even at the ball he saw that I was afraid of him" (ibid., at paras. 260-269). Later, when he was shown security camera footage from the "Lago" halls where the party was held, Defendant 1 identified himself, Defendant 2 and other people from work; He confirmed that they appeared to be drinking and smoking, and that he was laughing and behaving normally and even making dance moves, but claimed that after laughing he sat and stared and barely communicated with people and did not create any conversation on his own initiative, and that he did not want people to ask why he behaved differently than usual. He further stated that at the request of defendant 2, he brought about 15 grams of the deceased's drugs to the party and they used them at the party. According to him, attending the party was mandatory, and he could not be absent from it (ibid., pp. 12-15). Defendant 1 confirmed that in one of the videos he was seen talking and laughing with Defendant 2, but claimed that it was to show him that everything was fine, and that at a certain point Defendant 2 told him "Don't worry, everything will be fine, just don't talk and everything will be okay and then I won't have to talk to you and your family"; when it comes to slang and it was also possible to understand from the tone of the speech, This means that if he does not talk about what happened that day, he will not have to harm him or his family (ibid., pp. 365-396).
