Later, after purchasing a lighter and fuel that they had filled with a jerrycan they found on the way, the defendants returned to the car and tried to sit the deceased but saw that his body had fallen and realized that he was dead.  It was only at this stage that they saw the gun lying in the door of the car, and since he realized that the deceased could be identified by the serial number of the pistol, they decided to take the gun, and for the same reason they also took the car keys and the deceased's mobile phone.  According to him, they lied when they told the police that they had seen the gun earlier and that they had convinced the deceased to leave it in the car (pp. 346-347, 387-388, 408).  At this point defendant 1 poured gasoline from the jerrycan on the car and on the deceased and defendant 2 tried to light paper but failed, they found perfume inside the car, defendant 2 sprayed it on the paper, and he himself lit it and threw the paper into the car; According to him, they did not intend to murder the deceased and burned him only to hide the evidence, after they made sure he was already dead.  The defendants began to flee the scene but returned to take the jerrycan, and when they took it, they saw that the vehicle was in flames; During the escape, the deceased's mobile phone fell to them, and since the flames were high, they ran away and left it there (pp. 348-352, 378-379).

The defendants arrived at the house of defendant 1, put the clothes they were wearing in the bags and took a shower, and the next day they threw away the bags with their clothes and car keys, hid the weapon and went home.  Defendant 1 said that he did not go to work because it was difficult for him, but in the evening he went to a Purim party on behalf of the work so as not to arouse suspicion, during which he tried to behave normally, drank vodka and smoked (one of the deceased's drugs).  When he met with defendant 2 at the place of transportation to the party, they discussed the incident and the fact that N. had called him before and said that she could not find the deceased; They agreed that if the police arrived, they would say that they were at home and did not leave, "so that they would not get on top of us," and later at the party itself they closed their "alibi" (pp. 352-356, 401).
