The Witness, Dr.  Julie G.: I received the request for approval, I received certain studies that were carried out, for example, the plaintiffs' expert report that relied on studies, so I received these studies.  There were studies that I also found myself, for example, uh, from CBS, which is the Central Bureau of Statistics, they had documents but they were in Hebrew.  So I asked for them to be translated, and everything I relied on is in my report on the list of references.

[....]

Adv. A.  Amorai:     Okay.  So if that's the case, and we know that these documents have been translated for you, just confirm to me that it would be correct to say, just confirm to me that it would be correct to say that you, uh, uh, didn't do it.  Sorry, your team just didn't collect data, uh, from the Israeli Ministry of Health or from.  Wait.  The other government ministries.  The Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of the Environment, you didn't do that, did you? There's a page I can't find.

:A          You received, uh, any information I received appears in the list of references. [....] I did search, as much as I could.  For example, at CBS, which is the Bureau of Statistics, as far as I can remember, it was clear to me that there was data, but the data was in Hebrew.  Then I asked for help getting them out and then translating them.

:Q         Is that the only thing you asked for?

:A          Again it was 5 years ago, I don't remember the details, I can say that some of the material was given to me, some I saw in the expert report on behalf of the plaintiffs and then I asked for materials that were mentioned there.  But after 5 years, I can't remember how I came to every figure, I can say that I did my best to get as much relevant data as possible.

:Q       Ma'am, I just want and we will finish this point of gathering the material, that you confirm to our court that you did not initiate a search of, uh, materials, that could or could have given you more reliable information.  than they gave you on behalf of the factories, right? Is that correct?
