  1. Later in her interrogation, Dr. Libiki noted regarding the possibility of the phenomenon of synergism as follows:

Q:      I just want to summarize this point, confirm that this article does not refer to the materials we are dealing with here, of our factories.

The witness, Dr. S.  Libiki: So, very interesting question, and that is exactly why synergism is largely unstudied.  Go on, because..

Interpreter, Idit:      This is a very interesting question, and also the reason why synergy is something that has not been studied.  Because... 

The witness, Dr. S.  Libiki: there's an Infinite number of combinations that one can consider

Interpreter, Idit:      There are an infinite number of combinations that can be discussed

The witness, Dr. S.  Libiki: Which makes it very difficult to study

Interpreter, Idit:      Which makes it a very difficult subject to explore

The witness, Dr. S.  Libiki: this is why the regulatory system counts for the possibility of it

Interpreter, Idit:      Therefore, the standardization system takes into account that there is a possibility that this exists.

The witness, Dr. S.  Libiki: As an uncertainty and sets the standards with a large safety margin

Interpreter, Idit:      as something uncertain and sets the standards with a large margin of safety (page 1741)
