At this stage, when it appeared that the deceased had evaded his pursuers, it was the defendant who drove to Holon, on a different travel route, so it is clear that he had the information regarding the deceased's place of work.  The defendant travels to Holon, surrounds the deceased's place of work, presumably notices his arrival at the scene, reports it by phone to his partners at Toyota, and returns to Ramla, to the area of the family compound, to continue waiting and getting organized.  Later, at around 11:00 A.M., the defendant left again in a Mitsubishi to the deceased's place of work in Lod, and for about an hour circled the workplace again and again, waiting for the deceased to leave.  In other words, the defendant was also aware of the customary working hours at the premises, and was familiar with the secrets of the plan formulated to harm the deceased.  As the deceased exited back toward Lod, the defendant followed him and immediately informed the passengers of the Toyota, which was leaving the compound and joining the surveillance of the deceased.  Upon their arrival in Lod, the Mitsubishi and Toyota drive one after the other to the scene of the murder, which is being carried out in the presence of the defendant, right in front of his eyes, as he slowly passes by the deceased's car while the two assassins shoot him at close range.

The full cooperation, based on the division of duties, between Mitsubishi and Toyota is evident at each and every stage of the day's events, and the defendant's dominant role is further sharpened when attention is drawn to the telephone connection between the defendant's 685 subscriber in Mitsubishi and the 141 subscriber used by Toyota's occupants.  A review of the media studies shows that there is quite frequent telephone contact between these subscribers during the relevant hours, and it should be emphasized that during those hours these are the only calls made by the 685 subscriber, and that all the calls are outgoing calls from the 685 subscriber to the 141 subscriber, meaning that all the calls are made at the defendant's initiative and according to his choice.  Based on this last fact, there is substance to the accuser's argument that the defendant should be regarded as the person who managed the entire operation, and as the person who provided the information and instructions at each and every stage of the day.  Even if, out of an abundance of caution, I do not adopt this conclusion in full, there can be no doubt that the defendant played a central and acute role in the murder plan.  The defendant is the one who verifies the deceased's arrival at the place of work in Holon, he is the one who monitors his departure from the place, he is the one who reports this to his accomplices, and he is the one who directs them and allows them to arrive and join the surveillance, at the end of which the murder plan is carried out.
