To complete the picture, the summary of the clarification memoranda that was prepared when the malfunction was discovered in April 2024, after the police were unable to locate the original videos used to prepare the report.  Initially, in memorandum P/45A, David Marsha, an investigator at the Central District Attorney's Office, described how he was asked by the head of the team to come to the control center in the Lod Municipality and download videos from a number of cameras.  He also noted that at the end of the download, which lasted several hours, he asked policeman Sagi Abramov to go to collect the drive.  Abramov notes in Exhibit P/45B that as part of the murder investigation, Marsha asked him to go to the "City Without Violence" camera center in Lod in order to download additional footage required for the interrogation - all the security cameras according to the route of the victim and the suspects' vehicle between about 6:30 and 9:00 a.m.  He also noted the cameras that were downloaded: Rema Square, HaZionot Street, Ramla/Lod Junction, Jerusalem Blvd.  and St.  Martin.  At the end of the download process, Abramov collected a hard drive containing the security footage from the call center, and transferred it to investigator Saeed Ibrahim for analysis of the findings.

The picture is supplemented by the testimony of Sa'id Ibrahim, cited above, and the memorandum P/45C he prepared on 24 April 2024, which describes a similar picture according to which, in order to prepare the viewing report, he received a hard drive from the interrogator Sagi Abramov.  Due to the amount of material, the large number of cameras, and the many hours of viewing, the viewing took several days, which forced him to perform the viewing in different places and on different computers.  After the report was finished, the drive was returned to a cabinet intended for computer equipment in the partition, and due to human error, the files were not copied for backup in the ZIT partition.  Over time, the hard drive was rebooted and all the materials in it were permanently erased.  Therefore, after a thorough examination, the camera files on the basis of which the viewing report was recorded were not located.
