(paragraph omitted)

The defendant was also asked about the transfer of the SIM cards in his possession from one device to another and about the connections he made between his devices, but he did not recall the reasons for these acts, and related this to the long period of time that had passed since then [ibid., at pp.  538-542].  Later in the interrogation, he claimed that he had never called himself from one device to another, to check whether the SIM was working, and that the existence of such communications indicated that someone else had taken the phone, but was unable to provide an explanation for why all those calls had not been answered.  When asked about the silence of the phones on the day of the murder and the fact that he did not answer calls on the 401 subscriber, he repeated the explanation that he did not answer the phones on Fridays.  He said he had slept at home the night before the murder and was asked why he had not answered calls from his father before 7 a.m.  The defendant replied that he might have been in the yard and had not heard, and therefore was asked why he did not call his father back during the morning, but only at a quarter to two in the afternoon, and in response claimed that he did not remember.

The defendant was also interrogated in relation to the developments that occurred in the alibi claim, when in the supplementary document it was claimed that after his return from Hummus Khalil, the defendant did not leave the house again until the afternoon, and now the defendant claims that he went out to the grocery store again.  In response, the defendant confirmed that he may have watched the cameras collected from the gas station, and thus recalled the additional exit.  He was accused that during the interrogation there was no need to watch the cameras, and that the defendant could have recounted from his memory all the exits from the house, and the defendant repeatedly replied that at the time he did not want to cooperate, and even if he had been shown the video he would have denied it [ibid., at pp.  548-549].
