           The Defendant:          Mistaken identification

           From'2:                        What a mistake in identification?

The Defendant:          A person walks to an electric bicycle like that at an hour ..  1:30 a.m...  Masked

           From'2:            He's masked?

           The Defendant:          Yes..  And I've got a conflict that also has an electric bike everything

           From'2:                        (An unclear word)

           The Defendant:          (An unclear sentence) And I was at home (Transcriber's Note: At this stage, it is difficult to identify what the interrogee is saying due to weak speech)

           From'2:                        And then he comes to you as if I didn't understand the house?

           The Defendant:          He did slaloms like that in my neighborhood.

           From'2:            What's back and forth?

           The Defendant:          That's how it's back and forth (An unclear sentence) And I came from behind him, that's how I surprised him., Now I've been arrested

           From'2:            What is it, what happened, where did you knock??

           The Defendant:          I banged my whole back on him

           From'2:            Back? Back Less? (An unclear sentence) Oh on the back less, In the legs (An unclear sentence) You           Can say, I don't know self-defense, something in my back, (An unclear sentence).

           The Defendant:          Can I light my fireplace?

           From'2:            Take Take"

(See P/23A, page 15, lines 20 to 39; P/20 from the 56:52 minute to the  57:41 minute).  In other words, about 18 minutes after the defendant was brought into the detention cell (at 37:00 P.M.), the defendant began to tell about his involvement in the murder.

  1. Further, The defendant noted that the victim was about fifty years old, while the young man with whom he was in conflict was twenty years old. Vanunu asked the defendant if he was confused and he answered "Yes looks tall" (A/23 A', pp' 17, Lines 1-2).  Again later on:

"From'2:          And the one who looked like him was thin?
