Moreover, despite the fact that the defense team made a great effort to summon witnesses related to the dispute over the dispute, and for this purpose hearings were postponed time after time, it was actually attorneys Dan Zohar (who represented the defendant in the District Court and filed a motion on his behalf to dismiss the lawsuit) and Ron Barnett (who allegedly made an agreement between him and Dvir Amar, an agreement that was denied by the deceased) were not summoned to testify. It can only be concluded that if they had been invited, they would not have supported the defendant's version concerning them.
Even if the defendant believed that the law was against him [after he had invested "millions" in the purchase of various properties in the compound (April 30, 2024, p. 3982)], and even if he believed that the deceased's conduct was illegal and unjustified in any way, it is precisely this opinion that can drive a person to his mind, when he finds himself in the middle of complex legal proceedings in various courts, in the framework of which he may be dispossessed of his assets, and when, in his view, the entire purpose of the proceedings is to collapse the foundations of his life's work in the compound, And all this, according to him, was done through no fault of his own.
In the words of the defendant (p. 3988), "If I am physically in these areas, you will see that I am saying. Because 20 years, 18 years, now come Attorney Ephraim Arnon or Attorney Uh. [...] Yes, he wants to sue me. [...] He came to remove me. [...] What is it, what can this lawsuit do to me? I have agreements. [...] You would have said something else, a futile claim. [...] It's as if I'm now suing the house of the Honorable Judge [Father of the Tribunal] for invading my home. Then [the father of the court] will come the same thing, [...] the same thing, then [the father of the court] will say what I bought the agreement, I have an agreement, but the lawsuit will be conducted in court, it will be conducted in court. [...] He also sued Plot 49, which is registered in the Land Registry, as well, that I am an invader of Plot 49."
