It should be noted that in this interrogation, in view of the defendant's silence, the interrogator chose to speak before him many things non-stop, in such a way that his words did not sound like an interrogation but rather as a sermon. The interrogator's conduct is somewhat strange and not clear enough, and the frequent smoking in front of the interrogee's face is also inappropriate, but at the same time the defendant remains in place, sitting and silent. This is the place to note that when he was shown a video [from the security cameras in Rafi Abdayev's business complex], the defendant actually found himself looking at it and did not ignore it, contrary to his conduct in relation to the rest of the interrogator's statements.
In the third interrogation, which took place on 6 April 2021, when the interrogator initially went behind a partition (P/3, P/3B, testimony of Fouad Fares, 7 December 2022, p. 5 ff.), the defendant was given the right to a "long" consultation, and according to interrogator Fuad Fares, the consultation took place (in an unusual manner) in a corner outside the station for more than 20 minutes, and the interrogator also noted this at the beginning of the interrogation. At the beginning of the interrogation, the defendant said that he had no confidence in the Israel Police and therefore made it clear that he would not cooperate. He also complained about the attitude of the police towards his ex-wife and children. He said that he would not approach the plaintiffs by virtue of various laws, since this is a body that works with the police. The interrogator and the defendant clashed violently at the beginning of the interrogation, but from the moment the interrogator mentioned the murder of the deceased, the defendant ceased to cooperate. He also accused the interrogator that with an interrogator like him, there is no need for the court, since he is not only an investigator but also an executioner. He was shown a video from Eliran Sabag's car lot. The defendant looked but did not respond to what was seen in the video or to the questions he was asked in his wake. The same applies to other videos shown to him from gas station security cameras, dated March 23, 2021, in which he is seen arriving with the Chevrolet car and filling air with the wheels. In another video from another camera, the defendant is seen refueling the Chevrolet. He was also shown a video in which he was seen entering a convenience store, taking out money, approaching the saleswoman, and then going out to refuel. The defendant was asked explicitly what his explanation was for the fact that the next day the two murderers of the deceased were seen getting into the Chevrolet, but remained silent.
