"The prevalence and explosiveness of digital vision is not only due to the multiplicity of devices whose purpose is to document, but also to the modern lifestyle in which technology has long been a choice and is imposed on every individual in society.  Thus, many government and commercial services are moving to a computerized format that requires the use of the Internet in order to receive them; Communication between people - whether professional, friendly or otherwise - is usually done using smartphones and through applications and means that leave a digital record of the conversation.  The same applies to any man-made document, image, melody, or film - most likely to have been digitally processed - at least partially, if not entirely.  The result is that most of the evidence submitted to the courts today is the product of some kind of digital processing, and it is even reasonable to assume that it is nothing more than an "output" whose original form is digital information stored on a computer.  It is only natural that, in view of this fact, the courts will seek to trace the special characteristics of this type of evidence, and the effects it may have on its status in the legal proceeding.  The information accumulates is collectable - the possibilities for retrieving the information have become more sophisticated by taking advantage of the connectivity of the online space.  On the other hand, the information is volatile.  If there is no pre-planned storage and storage, temporary storage is available.  In most cases, information is not permanently deleted but moves to storage locations that can be "overridden".  In addition, the information is vulnerable, both due to unintentional changes and as a result of automatic updates, viruses, and more.  The information can be easily encrypted, masked, or obfuscated.  The online space allows for anonymization, restrictions on access to information, and more.  These characteristics distinguish digital vision from physical vision."
