The correspondence also indicates the existence of a close relationship between the defendant and Ahmad al-Falugi (P/21, pp. 20-22). Among the conversations on current affairs and mundane matters that the two held, they were found to be concerned with the defendant's feelings after October 7, 2023, including the joy of Eid, conversations whose content is consistent with and verifies the defendant's statements in his interrogations (P/13, P/14, P/6 (p. 8)) and according to which, after October 7, his ideological opinions and perceptions were extremized.
A sample of the conversations as detailed above is sufficient to verify the defendant's statements about his friends from abroad, about the existence of conversations about ISIS, including that he extremized his views and intensified his consumption of different content after October 7, when he then began looking for a formula for "bi'a," a training oath for the leader of ISIS.
- 32. As argued and detailed in the prosecution's summaries, the defendant's confessions meet the internal and external test that are necessary to examine their weight. With regard to the internal test, which focuses on the reliability of the confession and the signs of truth that arise from it, it was found that the defendant's confessions were detailed, coherent, and had an internal logic that the defendant knew to tell from his personal knowledge during three interrogations conducted at different times by different investigators. The defendant admitted to obsessively consuming ISIS content that was found in dozens of folders on the various devices he possessed, as detailed above.
The defendant mentioned in the name of the current caliph of the Da'ar'ar Shuna organization (Abu Hefetz) (paras. 57, P/13; paras. 9, P/14; paras. 106, P/6); the defendant gave the content of the oath of oath (P/162, P/6), explained the meaning of the oath and how the oath was made, and in the process referred to the source of his knowledge of these details (P/6, P/13, P/14). In the process, he explained and described in the background and the circumstances that intensified his consumption of ISIS content, radicalized his views and led him to carry out a "bi'a'a." This is in addition to the fact that in the chats he carried out on various applications, he was pulled out in front of a number of millions of DSs, which include various variations of the giving of a 'bi'a' (P/21, p. 17) that establish his interest and the source of his knowledge in connection with the 'bi'a'.
