"The bonus terms????," the plaintiff was horrified, "I thought I had received them for free in order to cover my losses. I didn't use them anyway. What does it mean: 'One more round of investment'? I need the money, please, please, please, I'm in big trouble, I'm dying of fear, I feel like throwing up. I can't relax. I cry all the time. I'm panicking. I don't sleep or eat. I'm broken." "First of all, I want you to calm down," the courteous representative replied. "Second, what do you mean by 'free'? You don't have to refund me the bonus money, but it was allocated for trading in your account. That's why I want you to trade through Tony, he's the perfect fit for it. He has his own strategy on how to meet the conditions that came with giving bonuses quickly. After the additional round of investment, I will also involve the customer relations department. I will use all the tools at my disposal to help you. Trade with Tony today, and I'll arrange what it takes so you can withdraw the money. No one will let you down" (Appendix 16).
Later that day, the representative wrote: "You don't have to invest an extra amount. We can trade what you have [in your account]. But, an extra investment will help. If you invest more, it will speed up the process and you will be able to get your money at the end of one day" (Appendix 17). The plaintiff again begged her to be allowed "only this exception," and the next day Giovanni informed her: "Tony is working on getting you approved for an immediate withdrawal of 10,000 shekels, okay? You'll just have to sign some kind of agreement because it's an exception." The plaintiff insisted on receiving all her money and explained that she was in debt of €40,000. This time, the representative was firm: "You got to see your money back thanks to the bonus money that the company provided you. Without the bonuses, you would be in debt of 40,000!! In order to withdraw any amount from your account, you need to meet the conditions, and to do so, you will need to continue trading. So either you take 10,000 and close the account [by signing such an agreement] or you continue to trade with Tony until you meet the conditions" (Appendix 18).
- The plaintiff, as I have already noted, chose to close the account. On top of an official letterhead, titled "Brand Name"RTC" In festive letters, alongside the elegant emblem of a winged lion, the company summarized the summary of the activity in the plaintiff's account, in dollars:
"Deposits: 57,889
