In response to this letter, the supplier's representative sent a fax message to defendant 3, stating that his company was not interested in contracting with the International Bank of Palestine, which was "A small bank located in Ramallah".  The vendor recommends working with Arab Bank who is also in Ramallah, when Defendant 3 was asked to confirm this.  Needless to say, in the end, all the operations were carried out through the Arab Bank in Ramallah, as suggested by the supplier.

As may be recalled, it appears from the testimony of Ephraim Meir that he received calls from various suppliers abroad, regarding the order of computer parts by defendants 1 and 3.

Here, too, the transaction was supposed to be carried out by the method of documents for collection, when in September 2000, the goods were received in Israel, by the freight forwarder. RGSand the import documents were sent, as mentioned, to the Arab Bank in Ramallah.

The method of releasing the goods was identical, when Yehoshua Shlosh gave the customs agent "Yesh Line Import and Export Services Ltd.", an import license (P/233), in the name of the importer, the company JCC, on the circumstances of its establishment and activity, I discussed in my previous remarks.

Shipping company man RGSMr. Avner Yulzari testified that Yehoshua Shlosh approached him and told him that he was an intermediary in a transaction for the purchase of computers for the Palestinian Authority, and that his company handled this shipment, which arrived in Israel.  The condition presented by the supplier was that the shipment would be released only when the signature of the carrier was presented on behalf of the Arab Bank.

According to Yulzari, he was initially presented with a bill of lading with an inadmissible stamp on it, because the transfer referred to the company JCC, and only afterwards was another conversion introduced, in favor of the PRL.  The papers intended for the release of the goods were received on behalf of Yehoshua Shlosh, a young man and a girl, who did not appear to him to have an Arab appearance.
