In his cross-examination, the witness was shown a video of the field of vision experiment on the meter at 20:27:43, and he testified in relation to the vehicle coming in front of him:
"A. In this case, the vehicle coming in front swerved into my lane and it looked like it was going
Collide head-on." (See his testimony of 8 January 2025, p. 32, para. 20).
Prosecution Witness No. 8 - Mr. Israel Zadok:
In his main interrogation, he testified, because he is retired. He was a witness to the accident.
When asked what happened in the accident, he testified:
"I was sitting next to my son who was driving the car and after we passed Amazia on the road I was looking towards the road towards the darkness, and then I saw lights approaching us, at a certain point I saw that the lights were tilting to the right to my side and then they came back and we continued to drive and he was approaching us and then there was a tilt of the car coming in front of me towards my right and the accident happened. From what I saw it seems to me that the car that turned right was just rising in the air at eye level or something like that, and I was afraid that we would all meet together in the event as well but the vehicles of the accident separated and we crossed in the middle. I told my son to stop and he was afraid it was a terror attack, the truth is that I too, there was a period of terror attacks etc. I immediately called MDA, I wanted to go back to the accident but I saw that vehicles were already coming and the road was narrow and dark, so we signaled with the lights to the vehicles to slow down and since we couldn't and we didn't see the possibility of turning around for fear because I saw that vehicles were coming so we kept driving until I found a place to stop near the settlement of Lachish, we turned around and returned to the area of the accident but there were already a lot of vehicles in front of us and we realized that the incident was already under control, because at a certain point I saw the ambulance, I don't remember if it was after I called, I saw an ambulance coming out of the direction of Amatzia.
I don't remember if it was after I called or came backBut at least I was sure that there were people taking care of the accident and then we continued driving home. The opposite road was clear.
Q. You said you noticed the lights, what can you tell us exactly what you saw and how many times you saw them?
A. At least once I saw it, I didn't interpret it as a deviation from the route, I didn't see lanes, there was darkness and maybe it's a bend in the road." (See his testimony of 8 January 2025, pp. 32-33, paras. 30-34,1-10).
