When the witness was asked, that the police stated that "instead of the lights coming in a straight line, the lights may have deviated from the curves in the road, I saw the accident in plain sight, the injured vehicle was in my lane", he testified:
"I may have the film right in my head that the car coming in front of us seemed to make a turn and hit the car in front of us.  It was sharp, I was stunned." (See his testimony of 8 January 2025, p.  33, paras.  22-23).

The witness testified regarding the weather, because it didn't really rain, but when they left the settlement of Bnei Dekalim there was a drizzle.
He testified, because it was a calm and peaceful ride.  It was dark and there weren't many vehicles.  The car that was hit was behind them, it overtook them and they continued to follow it normally until the accident.

The witness was asked about the lights he saw and testified:
"A.  Lights, there's nothing to see, it's all darkness and I saw a pair of lights coming from the direction against us
And I saw the tilt to the right and back.  Could be twice but once for sure.  Island
You could see the lights all the timeThe road itself today I drive on it all the time
There are trees and twists.  I don't remember seeing the lights all the time but not all the time
I saw, because we were talking.
Q.  I would like to refresh your memory from the statement to the police, in the first paragraph: "At the stage
At some point, I noticed a car coming in front of me and saw that it swerved twice toward the lane in which it was
We traveled, twice entered our lane and returned back to his lane, the third time he swerved
into our lane and collided with the car that was driving in front of us..." Do you remember that this is what you gave
In the police?
A.  It may be but today that the pictures come back to me, I say I didn't see the
The lanes and I couldn't see because it was dark but I saw a right turn and a return of the
Lights.
...
Q.  Your son was here a few minutes ago and testified and he didn't say that he saw the defendant's car swerve three times and even said that he didn't say anything like that.  You, in all fairness today, say that you really didn't see lanes, so you can't say that you saw a deviation, so you say behind things today, contrary to your testimony to the interrogator, that you didn't see lanes, you can't say with certainty that there was a deviation?
A.  I cannot say for sure that there was a deviation because I did not see lanes." (See his testimony of January 8,2025, pp.  33-34, paras.  31-34,1-16).
