At approximately 23:15 (the time is studied from 16) and until 23:33, Defendant 1 was interrogated by the interrogator Shai Lazmi (P/4), and said that he wanted to tell everything that had happened. Although he tried to minimize his share a little and increase the role of Defendant 2, he gave a detailed version of the entire sequence of events, linked himself to the commission of the murder (although less to planning), to the arson and destruction of the evidence, and expressed his willingness to conduct a reconstruction and point out everything, including the place where the gun was hidden.
On March 1, 2018, from 00:10 to 02:57, Defendant 1 set out together with Investigator Shai Lazmi, Detectives Dor Buskila and Adi Hamami, and the team of the mobile laboratory Yoav Barkan and Zachiat Hazan for reconstruction (P/5, P/16), during which he led the police to the place where the pistol was hidden (where the pistol was indeed found by the police); Conducting a reconstruction of the incident from the beginning, while leading the police to the scene of the incident and giving detailed testimony about all his actions together with Defendant 2 on the night of the incident, including transportation to gas stations and pointing out various landmarks on the walking route; and also led to places where, after the incident, the defendants threw various items (the jerrycan, the clothes they were wearing, and the keys to the deceased' s car), some of which were seized during the reconstruction.
After the reconstruction was completed, on the morning of 1 March 2018, defendant 1 watched the video footage of the reconstruction, was interrogated again under warning, and gave additional detailed testimony about the entire incident (P/6, P/7). At the same time, at approximately 03:00 it was decided to arrest the defendants (P/44, P/45), and at 04:30 the Public Defender's Office was informed of their arrest (P/76).
After this date, additional interrogation activities were conducted with the defendants (additional interrogations, reconstruction of Defendant 2 and confrontation), as well as videos were collected from security cameras on the route to which the defendants in the reconstructions (P/19, P/64) and from the "Lago" halls in Rishon LeZion, where the defendants were staying at a party the day after the murder.
