Security camera footage and testimonies from gas stations
On February 27, 2018, at 2:04 a.m. to 2:07 A.M., the deceased was seen entering his car at the Paz Berurim station (near the Masmiya junction), refueling the vehicle and paying for the refueling (P/60).
On February 27, 2018, at 4:05 A.M. to 4:06 A.M., the defendants were seen walking along Weizmann Street on Sderot and passing by House 28, at which point it appears that they were leaving their coats between two vehicles, apparently behind bushes in the area (P/55).
On February 27, 2018, at 4:19 A.M ., defendant 2 was seen wearing dark clothes, entering the convenience store at the Paz gas station in the Sderot industrial zone, talking to the salesman, and then leaving the place (P/56). The salesman in the store, Liav Ben Hamo, testified in his statement of February 28, 2018 (P/36) that the young man who was seen on the cameras arrived at the scene, asked if there was a flashlight for sale, the witness went out from behind the counter to look at the shelf, but did not find a flashlight and offered him an LED lamp, the young man told him that he was already coming back, but did not return and did not purchase anything. To the interrogator's question about how the young man behaved, whether he was nervous, sweating or panting, he replied that he behaved normally; He also noted that he had not seen anyone else with him. In his cross-examination, the witness emphasized that he hardly remembered the incident, and regarding the claim that Defendant 2 was very nervous and confused, and that he asked him if everything was fine, the witness replied that he did not remember it (p. 194).
On February 27, 2018, at 04:22 to 04:26, the defendants are seen wearing dark clothes, walking towards the Tapuz gas station in the Sderot industrial zone, with defendant 2 holding a tank in his hand and his left leg folded or lifted upwards (and he is even seen arranging his pants); Defendant 2 stands on the side, defendant 1 enters the station, talks to the refueler, fetches the tank from defendant 2 and refuels it. At a certain point, defendant 2 joins him and the two leave the station with defendant 2 holding the container (P/57-P/58).
