Copied from NevoDefendant 1 approached Defendant 3, because he was a proctor in the matriculation exaMs. Defendant 1 introduced herself as a man, and asked for Defendant 3's help in filming and copying the matriculation exams.
Defendant 3 has cooperated with the conspiracy since January 2022 by taking advantage of his work as a proctor, photographing the exam forms at the beginning of the exam or even before it began, and passing the photographs on to any of the defendants or other conspirators. Defendant 3 acted in this manner in at least 8 matriculation exaMs. The defendants acted as described in relation to 12 additional matriculation exams that they took in a way unknown to the accuser.
Defendant 3 made sure to delete the copies of the exams that he gave to Defendant 1.
After receiving the exam forms, the defendants and the other conspirators acted to quickly resolve the exams by a variety of means and methods that are not known to the accuser.
The examinees who took part in the act of cheating (hereinafter - the "examinees"), under the guidance of the defendants and the other conspirators, approached the content of the designated group in a variety of ways during the exam in violation of the Ministry of Education's guidelines. For example, they suggested that examinees enter the test with a smartwatch, enter the test with two phones and present only another of them to the proctor, leave a phone in the bathroom, or enter the test with a hidden headset. Thus, the examinees copied the solution of the exam published by the defendants, with certain changes, as instructed by the defendants, in order to prevent the Ministry of Education from discovering their actions.
During this period, the defendants and one of the conspirators received payment in exchange for solving at least 951 cases.
In order to conceal the payments they received, which constituted prohibited property, and their connection to the prohibited property, the defendants and one of the other conspirators operated a network of women, including defendant 2 herself, whom they contacted under pseudonyms and even spoke to them through voice distortion software and introduced themselves as "Nabil" or "Muhammad."
