The first policeman to arrive at the scene of the murder was Sagiv Levy, who in his action report clarifies that during a routine patrol on San Martin Street, he heard about the shooting from a citizen and then drove to the square and noticed a Hyundai with a guy "head down" inside.  A medic then arrived, and together the two took the victim out of the car, using gloves.  The medic began treating the victim, while the policeman was busy closing the scene and removing curious people, including family members of the victim, who began to go berserk [P/10 - D.P., P/11 - body camera video].  Another police officer who arrived at the scene was Shai Edri, who noticed the resuscitation activities, as well as the scene of 9mm shell casings on the road at the corner of Gavriel - Ben Gurion.  He went to the Hyundai and found, among other things, the deceased's ID card [P/12 - D.P.).  Additional police officers arrived at the scene and assisted in closing the scene and dealing with the agitated family members of the deceased at the scene and at Assaf Harofeh Hospital [see the action reports P/13 - P/16].

Later, at around 1:30 P.M., scene investigator Shai Ovadia arrived at the scene, met with the deputy commander of the Lod police station, watched the footage of the incident on the municipality's security camera, and scanned the scene, initial documentation of the victim's vehicle and the scene, and marked the weapons backpacks.  According to his report, the victim's vehicle was stationed in the northeastern part of the scene and the location of the nine cartridges that were located and seized was in the southwestern part of the scene.  Attached to the report were 37 photographs documenting the location where the Hyundai stopped, after the deterioration described above, and the location of the cartridges near where the shooters were seen on the security cameras, at the entrance to the roundabout from the direction of Ben Gurion Street [it seems that the report mistakenly changed the location of Ben Gurion Street with that of San Martin Street, but the locations in the photos are clear and leave no room for doubt - H.T.].  In photographs 31 and 33 attached to the report, you can see the bullet holes in the driver's door and the left front wing of the Hyundai, near the driver's door, as well as the driver's window that was shattered as a result of the shooting [P/17 - Summary report of the forensic investigation, P/18 - Report on the seizure of exhibits, including 9 weapons shells].
