In their summaries, the learned defense attorneys refer to the fact that during those last minutes preceding the murder, including the entire period of time during which the three relevant vehicles were in the city of Lod, there was no direct eye contact between the Hyundai and the Mitsubishi and the Toyota, and the timetables attest to a difference of about two minutes between the victim's vehicle and the other two vehicles.  Therefore, according to them, the meeting in Ben Gurion Square was a random meeting, which they refer to in paragraph 41 of the summaries as "an unfortunate coincidence" that is "the fruit of fate and not the result of planned follow-up." Ostensibly, the time difference between the vehicles might have raised a question regarding the precise determination in advance of the time and place of the murder, and hence also regarding the very existence of prior coordination between the passengers of the vehicles - but the problem is not a problem at all: from approximately 07:00 to 13:00, the vehicles are recorded moving in a similar, identical manner, first in search circles and later in "driving after" the deceased's vehicle.  Until after the murder, when the vehicles meet for the last time when the Toyota is set on fire.  Not fate or coincidence here, but a conspiracy and a deliberate effort.  It is clear that the murder was committed on the deceased's fixed and known route, in advance coordination between the passengers of the vehicles, and only the exact location along that route cannot be coordinated in advance, since it is also dictated by circumstances beyond the control of the conspirators, such as traffic congestion.

Third Stage - From the time of the murder onwards:

As may be recalled, immediately after the shooting of the deceased, the Toyota turned east from the square to Gabriel Street, and a few seconds later it is recorded in the video after turning right, onto Haim Khoury Street, in a southerly direction [P/33 - Assistance 1163 - Etrog Camera 2/Haim Khoury 26, P/34 - Viewing Report, P/35 - Download Report].  Further down the street, the Toyota descends from the road to a dirt path and stops in the sands.  Three characters dressed in black emerge from the ensemble.  One of the figures is seen walking to the right towards the road and the other two are standing next to the Toyota.  One of them is seen holding a white jerrycan-like object and it seems that they are pouring something on the car that increases the flames, as a few seconds later a fire breaks out from the left side of the vehicle.  At this point, a white car arrives from the right side of the frame, which today no longer disputes that it is a Mitsubishi.  The figure that moved away to the right of the frame approaches the Mitsubishi and disappears into it.  The other two figures run to the right, while thick gray smoke rises from the Toyota.  At this stage, there is a jump in the video, so that the entry of the two other characters into the Mitsubishi is not documented, but as mentioned, there is no dispute between the parties that the three Toyota passengers entered the Mitsubishi, after setting fire to the Toyota, and fled the scene.  Later in the video, you can see the Toyota on fire and later it is all burning, enveloped in thick smoke, in front of the astonished eyes of the neighbors.  A few minutes later, the first police motorcycle arrives, and two more minutes later, a fire truck and a police car.  According to the photographic footage, the Mitsubishi stayed in the area for only about 10-15 seconds, and the entire scene of stopping, setting fire to the Toyota and the litter takes only about two minutes [P/36 - Assistance 1146 - Haim Khoury Camera 26, P/37 - Viewing Report, P/38 - Download Report].
